Nigel Phair
One of Australia’s most influential analysts on the intersection of technology, crime and society.Adjunct Professor Phair has published three acclaimed books on the international impact of cybercrime, is a regular media commentator and provides executive and board advice on strategy, risk & governance of technology.
In a 21 year career with the Australian Federal Police he achieved the rank of Detective Superintendent and headed up investigations at the Australian High Tech Crime Centre for four years.
He is founder and managing director of a technology ‘start up’ company and has chaired a number of not-for-profit organisations.
Nigel has strong professional, government and community links and well-established national and international networks. He is a sought after commentator, advisor and strategist who focuses on technology and business disruption.Nick FitzGerald
Senior Research Fellow, ESETNick FitzGerald has an extensive research background in computer malware, technical and editorial writing in the malware and e-crime field, and an in-depth knowledge of anti-malware product testing. He is well-known in the anti-malware industry as a former editor and head product tester for Virus Bulletin. As a web threats researcher, he has worked in the industry from the very earliest days of malware’s move to the web and its associated shift from “electronic graffiti” to its primarily criminal activity today. Nick is currently a Senior Research Fellow, with a particular focus on APAC, at digital protection company, ESET.
Michal Jankech
Principal Product Manager at ESETMichal Jankech, Principal Product Manager at ESET, is responsible for ESET Enterprise solutions (ESET Security Management Center & ESET Enterprise Inspector). He has more than 11 years of product management expertise in Software and Telco industry. Amongst his key responsibilities is being the voice of the market, performing customer research, identifying market problems, and proposing solutions in the form of products. Michal is responsible for complete product life-cycle, starting with definition, design, build, launch and ending with post-launch activities.
